What’s New in One UI 7?

Samsung’s most ambitious software update yet introduces:

  • Total UI Refresh: Redesigned icons, widgets, a split notification & control panel and an all-new “Now Bar” on the lock screen surface real-time info like fitness stats or media controls without unlocking.
  • Galaxy AI at Your Fingertips:
    • AI Select: Easily extract text or convert video clips into GIFs via Edge Panel.
    • Writing Assist: Summarize, translate or reformat text directly in messages, emails, or documents.
    • Drawing Assist: Transform sketches or prompts into polished visuals for quick mockups.
    • Audio Eraser: Strip background noise and isolate voices in videos with a single tap.
  • Google Gemini Voice Controls: Press and hold the side key to launch Gemini. Issue natural language commands—“Find pet-friendly cafes nearby,” toggle Eye Comfort Shield or schedule calendar events hands-free.
